Traveled from Corentyne to GT today.

Much spontaneous celebration in the streets and roads especially in the Black villages.  About 1000 in Victoria and 1000 in Nabacalis area.

Dancing, waving of flags, people drape themselves in the APNU-AFC flags.  Never saw such joy from the voters.

This is like August Monday come back again.  When the PPP won in 1992 similar joy.

I can now understand what some of the PNC supporters felt like in 1992. Queasy and dejected. But blaming your own party for a well deserved defeat. Tinged wid a little hope to give dem Granger bais a chance.
