Please accept our sincere sympathies on the death of your hubby!   No-one can share/feel this grief more than yourself - your time together, the lovely things you built together over the years and the fun-filled times in your life as you matured.  This is the winter of your grief - a slow, long, dormant period but eventually, as time goes by, your relationship/memories with your hubby will transcend time and the healing process will be heightened as each day goes by.
My wish for you is to be strong for you, your children, your parents and his parents.  Continue to ask God for faith and blessings and may he give you a better understanding of death and acceptance.

Kyla and Steve

btw, I have borrowed seksyred's handle to come in.

That is a touching moment Chami, makes me realize how vulnerable we all are. It could one day be any one of us in this very same situation. Guys/Gals cherish your loved ones, before it is too late. Time is always short.

Wow!!!  This one is a shocker!

My dear Cham to you and your wonderful children my sincere condolences at this very very sad time. Cherish the wonderful memories that you shared with him, hang in there and be strong.

My prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

Amral please let me know where I can send my contribution for either flowers or a wreath on behalf of all GNIers.

To bear great many griefs, they beckon to you
Hai kaun saa vo i.nsaan yahaa.N per jis ne dukh naa jhelaa
Who is such a man here who has not borne grief

Chal akelaa, chal akelaa, chal akelaa
Go alone, go alone, go alone

Teraa melaa piichhe chhuuTaa raahii chal akelaa
Your fair got left behind, traveller, go alone

Teraa koI saath na de to tuu khud se priit jo.D le
If no one comes with you, learn to love yourself

Let the earth be your bed and wear the sky as your cover
Yahan puuraa khel abhii jiivan kaa tuune kahaa.N hai khelaa
The full game of life, you have not yet played

O DOOR KE MUSAAFIR HUMKO BHI SAATH LE LE RE

http://www.mastimag.com/download.php?song_id=34748

Chale aaj tum jahaan se, huyee zindagee paraayee
You leave this world today, my life is not mine anymore
Tumhen mil gayaa tikaanaa, humein maut bhee na aayee
You found your niche, I didnt even find death

(O dhoor ke musaafir, hum ko bhi saath le le re
O traveller to a far place, take me along
Hum ko bhi saath le le, hum rahe gaye akele)2
Take me along I am left all alone

Thoone wo de diyaa gum, bemauth mar gaye hum
You gave me such a grief, I died without dying
Dil ut gayaa jahaan se, (le chal humein yahaan se)2
My heart wants none of this world, take me away from here
Kis kaam ki ye duniyaa jo zindagee se khele re
I want nothing of this world, the world that plays with your life
Hum ko bhi saath le le, hum rahe gaye akele
Take me along I am left all alone

Sooni hai dil ki raahein, khaamosh hain nigaahein
Deserted are the paths of my heart, vacant is my sight
Naakaam hasraton kaa (utane ko hai janaazaa)2
Now is the funeral of my unfulfilled dreams
Chaaron tharaf lage hain, barabaadiyon ke mele re
Devastation all around me

Hum ko bhi saath le le, hum rahe gaye akele
Take me along I am left all alone

(O dhoor ke musaafir, hum ko bhi saath le le re
O traveller to a far place, take me along
Hum ko bhi saath le le, hum rahe gaye akele)2
Take me along I am left all alone

A Beautiful Bhajan by Talat Mehmood from the Film: Dost (Friend)

Aaye Bhii Akelaa, Jaaye Bhii Akelaa
Do Din Kii Zi.Ndagii Hai, Do Din Kaa Melaa
Do Din Kaa Melaa   ...

Into this world we have come alone,

In a similar manner when we take our exit,

we shall leave alone.

When we do take stock of our lives, we realize that this life of ours is a very short visit to a Mela.

This is a world of strangers, no one is yours.

Although everyone lives, I am still alone.

CHAL UDJA RE PANCHEE KE AB YE DESH HUA BEGANA

http://mp3mad.com/128-148412/C...a%20Re%20Panchhi.mp3

Chal Ud Ja Re Panchhi Ke Ab Yeh Desh Hua Begaana
Go, fly away bird, now that this world has become a stranger

Bhool Ja Ab Voh Mast Hava Voh Udna Daaali Daali
Forget those intoxicating breezes, those flutters from branch to branch
Jag Ki Aankh Ka Kaanta Ban Gayi Chaal Teri Matwali
Your style has become a thorn in the eyes of the world
Kaun Bhala Us Baag Ko Poochhe Ho Na Jiska Maali
Who will ask for that garden that has no gardener
Teri Kismat Mein Likha Hai Jeete Ji Mar Jaana
Your fate has been written to live a lifeless life

Khatam Hue Din Us Daali Ke Jis Par Tera Basera Tha
Gone are the days of that branch on which you were perched
Aaj Yahan Aur Kal Wahan Yeh Jogi Wala Phera Tha
Today here and somewhere else tomorrow, like a devotee, was your movement
Sadaa Raha Hai Is Duniya Mein Kiska Aab-O-Dana
Who, in this world, has always had prestigious food/water
Chal Ud Ja Re Panchhi ...
fly away bird...

Toone Tinka Tinka Chunkar Nagri Ek Basaai
You have collected bit by bit and made a city or/ collected straws and made your nest
Baarish Mein Teri Bheegi Aankhein Dhoop Mein Garmi Khai
In rain your eyes have got wet and suffered the heat of sun
Gham Na Kar Jo Mehnat Tere Koi Kaam Na Aayi
do not grief if your laborious task is not fruitful
Achha Hai Kuchh Le Jaane Se Dekar Hi Kuchh Jaana
It is better to give than to take something away
Chal Ud Ja Re Panchhi ...
Go bird, fly away...

Rote Hain Woh Pankh Pakheru Saath Tere Jo Khele
In tears are those birds who once played with you
Jinke Saath Lagaye Toone Armaanon Ke Mele
with whom you shared so many dreams
Bheegi Ankhiyon Se Hi Unki Aaj Duaen Le Le
with whom you shared so many dreams
Kisko Pata Ab Is Nagri Mein Kab Ho Tera Aana
Who knows now when you will return to this city
Chal Ud Ja Re Panchhi ...
Go bird, fly away....

INCIDENTALLY THIS SONG WAS ALSO DONE BY TALAT MAHMOOD FOR THE FILM BHABI; RAFI VERSION WAS USED INSTEAD: TALAT VERSION IS JUST AS WELL AS GOOD:

It is an appropiate song for when someone passes away, or when someone had that taste of death, of which we all someday has to go through.

Cham, so sorry to hear. In this moment of your bereavement please accept my condolences. Having to deal with the passing of a dear one is never easy in spite the comfort provided by your loved ones. The ailment is tough one to deal with and we can only pray that you have the strength to deal with this. He's going to a place of eternal gentle rest and you must cherish the memories of his legacy to you as a partner and to his close ones and friends.

Kari

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our amazing father Budh-Dave Anandjit on Tuesday July 22, 2014. Loving husband of (Liz) and devoted father to their 3 children. He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Anandjit Persaud and will be missed by his 4 sisters and 6 brothers and their families as well his many friends, especially his cricket boys.

Resting at the Paul O’Connor Funeral Home 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Pharmacy and Warden). Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday July 24 from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. Service in our chapel on Friday at 11 a.m.  Cremation to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of  Mr.Budh-Dave Anandjit, so a cure may be found to prevent anyone else to endure this sadness.
