Here is my old gunner. Took it out of storage after 8 years. Had all the components lubed with white lightening so it rode well even after so long on the shelf.

I left it in the shop to get new tires ( yellow up front, red at the back),  new cork wrapping and  look clipless pedals. Will post new pics when it comes out of the shop next week.

The Gunner people did a custom paint job for me. Have 105 components on it. It is a steel bike and comes in at a little pudgy 25 lbs.  My Pinarello dogma  is carbon fiber and a little over 16 lbs.

You need to put a red seat on the Gunnar. We don't see those bikes in Canada. 28lbs aint bad for a steel bike neither.

Is the trail paved or is that gravel? The trail I use has a little of everything, even womenfolk with big butts. We're also putting cycling lanes in some areas of the city.

Straight up road. It is named after a dog. It is fully custom. I did have a red Specialized Toupe RBX Expert on it but someone liked it better than me. That is a Fizik Antares I had around the house. I might shell out the 100 or so to get another  red seat.

The trail is paved. I can make a 11 miles, 20 miles or 35 miles loop without having to deal with traffic.

The bike is actually 25 lbs. It is a special air hardened steel. It is stiff and gallops easily. I am however used to the more cushy ride on carbon fiber.

I am an single track mountain biker and not a road biker. I have road bikes because my wife does these fund raising rides all the time so I ride with her.

Seeing the dogs reminded me I have to get back to my son. The guy called me a few days ago and asked what am I doing last week the last couple weeks in Feb. they're heading to Hawaii.

So here I am feeling all nice an ting,I'm going to Hawaii tarant, but instead the banna wants me to come and sit his two dogs (my grandkids, as he aint getting children)it's gonna cost more to keep them at a sitter than to fly me there and back.

Get your Christmas trees here $20 a piece, then you run like the wind.

We have lots of those around the place. It is a gated community but these fools do not light them up at Christmas! The next complex over does so, as expected, all of us go over there in the evenings. They even have Halloween decorations with witches and stuff stuck to the trees. We dont either...stuffy rules.

My son is too car crazy to take care of dogs. I won't trust him to look after my dogs. He is 22.
