Despite suffering sets backs where he had to expend millions to redo the Benjamin Sports Store and fitness Gym due to faulty work by contractors, former national cyclist Wilbert Benjamin still remains benevolent, as he donated a set of cycling apparel to members of his local team, the Flying Ace Cycle Club of Berbice.
Benjamin is presently back home in Guyana from his adopted country of Canada where he also operated a Sports Store (Benjamin Sports) and still rides, stated that he feels compelled to give back to the sport he loves.
He took time out from his busy schedule to make a generous donation of cycling uniforms to the FACC at a simple presentation ceremony at his business establishment Lot 220 Courtland Village Corentyne, Berbice.
