Aishwarya Rai out, Sonam Kapoor in!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been endorsing a popular jewellery brand for the past three years, has now been replaced by Sonam Kapoor. The brand released an official statement saying, “We would like to thank Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for augmenting the product propositions of our brand over the last 3 years and helping it establish itself as a leading national brand. We welcome Sonam Kapoor and are confident that her status as a style icon and popularity will strengthen future product campaigns of our jewellers." A few years ago, a major tiff sparked between the ladies when a cosmetic brand announced Sonam as their new co-ambassador.

Did Deepika Padukone lose a big project to Kangana Ranaut?

Kangana Ranaut may have lost her Filmfare trophy to Deepika Padukone this year but the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood seems to have emerged as the first choice of few acclaimed filmmakers. As of late, Homi Adajania who has worked with Deepika in ‘Finding Fanny’ and ‘Cocktail’, has now approached Kangana for his next venture despite her jam-packed schedule. The ‘Queen’ star too has undergone script reading sessions for the same and if things fall in place, she may give her nod, as reported by Dailyhunt.com. Currently, Deepika is filming her Hollywood debut ‘xXx’ alongside Vin Diesel, while Kangana is busy shooting Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. She will follow this with Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’.

Saif Ali annoyed with Arjun Kapoor's late night calls to Kareena

Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are all set to wow us with their amazing chemistry in their upcoming film, 'Ki & Ka.’ However, looks like Arjun Kapoor got a tad bit carried away while playing the doting husband in the movie. According to a report on Spotboye.com, after wrapping up a fight sequence for the movie, the actor called up his co-star, Kareena past midnight. All hell broke loose when Saif saw Arjun's name flashing on Kareena's phone. Apparently, this wasn't the first time that the 'Ishaqzaade' actor was calling Bebo at such a late hour. Irritated by Arjun's regular late-night phone calls, Saif decided to give him a piece of his mind. The report states that Saif told him in no certain terms that this was not a decent hour to call up a married woman. The actor said that he understands that the call might be related to work, but it could certainly wait until morning. The Nawab also told Arjun that he should respect Kareena, because of her seniority compared to him.
Well, let's hope Arjun's phone calls don't cause trouble in Saif-Kareena's paradise.

Sonakshi Sinha does not acknowledge Deepika's Hollywood debut?

While everyone is eagerly waiting for Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' opposite Vin Diesel to hit screens, looks like there is one actress in particular who doesn't acknowledge DP's Hollywood debut. Speaking to the media at a recent event, actress Sonakshi Sinha said, "So far, except Priyanka not many people have managed to break out into the West in a big way. Because I feel they don't have great roles for Indian actors. But, Priyanka has gone in that way. She has broken all the barriers. I think she is doing fantastic." Did we hear it right? Apparently, Sushant Singh Rajput gave Ranveer Singh a very royal ignore while the latter greeted him at a recent award function. We know Ranveer’s lively and happy-go-lucky temperament makes him warm up to everyone and so, at the event, he walked up to Sushant to greet him. However, Sushant was in no mood to return his cordiality and did not respond at all, reported Deccan Chronicle. We wonder what could be the reason behind such hostility. Could it be rooted in the fact that it was Sushant who was originally offered ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela’ which he rejected due to date issues? Incidentally, Sushant was also the first choice for 'Befikre,' but after the delay in 'Paani,' Sushant had a fallout of sorts with Aditya Chopra. 'Befikre' has now landed in Ranveer's lap.

Rumour has it that Anushka Sharma has had a fallout with 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' actor Ayushmann Khurrana. The pretty actress ventured into production in 2014 and delivered a hit in the form of 'NH10'. According to reports on BollywoodLife, Anushka had approached Ayushmann Khurrana of 'Vicky Donor' fame for one of her upcoming projects. However, Ayushmann was demanding more money than Anushka could offer, stated the report. Despite Anushka telling him that it's supposed to be a small budget film and that she cannot offer him more money, Ayushmann apparently did not budge. Reports also suggest that Anushka is on a lookout for Khurrana’s replacement and will finalise an actor by the coming week.

And going by the looks of it, the two just can't seem to stand each other. She further said that she has way too much going on in her life, so what people say and think is really irrelevant. While DP said what she had to, Kangana too has retaliated back. Deepika isn’t bothered about her love-hate relation with Kangana

Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut certainly don’t appear to be friends, going by the few incidents between them in the past. We know that the start of their tiff was last year, when Deepika dedicated her award to Kangana. The latter, however, expressed her displeasure saying that she would have preferred if Dippy would have called her up in person and congratulated. Naturally this did not go down too well with Deepika. While Kangana has never shied away from expressing herself (even if it offends other people), Deepika has decided to pay no heed to any complains any more. According to a report on Pinkvilla, Deepika was recently questioned about her love-hate relationship with Kangy and the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress retaliated saying that it was irrelevant and one-sided. It is heard PC was upset with the organizers that Freida’s name flashed above her name in the invite. Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, attended the Stardust awards on December 21, 2015. The superstar, who was greeted with a deafening roar as he stepped out of his car outside the venue, walked in casually in his own style with his huge entourage in tow. While the shutterbugs were all trying to get a better look of the actor, Saif Ali Khan who was preparing to exit the awards, walked in from inside. Saif Ali Khan was informed by the ground crew about his turn to speak to the congregated media, but Saif who had spotted Salman walking in, apparently declined, saying that he didn't have anything to speak about. While Salman Khan was posing for the shutterbugs, everyone expected Saif walking up to Salman and hugging him, making for the perfect photo-ops. However, quite surprisingly Saif walked out in a hurried manner from the sidelines making sure to avoid making eye contact with Salman. Salman Khan, too, couldn't care less. Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan has set the rumour mills buzzing yet again. After reports of Deepika Padukone being considered, we recently heard that Kangana Ranaut, too, is being considered for the same role. According to a DNA report, Aanand is far from considering Kangana as she had apparently given him a real tough time while working on Tanu Weds Manu Returns. That’s what Kajol’s explanation to her husband Ajay Devgn and her closest friend, Shah Rukh Khan’s relationship is. At a recent event, when asked about Ajay and SRK’s equation, Kajol denied of there being any friendship between them. The Dilwale actress said, “If two people are not friends, that doesn't mean they are enemies. I have said this earlier also. Just because they don't party together and you don't see them clicking selfies, that doesn't mean that they hate each other or bad-mouth each other."

According to a report on Mid-day.com, Katrina Kaif, who met up with alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in the Capital, did not mind taking a hotel suite next to his ex-flame Deepika Padukone. The report added that according to the grapevine, Katrina, who is currently shooting in Delhi for Fitoor, had earlier made personal trips to the Capital to spend time with her alleged beau and the couple had been put up in an adjoining suite next to Deepika's. Quoting a source, the Mid-day report also added that Katrina and Ranbir were busy shooting for their respective films and so after the Kashmir schedule of her film got over, she decided to join Ranbir in Delhi where the latter was shooting with Deepika for Tamasha. Another source added that Katrina was fine with arrangements and wanted to stay on the same floor.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Sonam Kapoor has dismissed a much-talked about dig at Deepika Padukone. The actress is miffed that she has been drawn into a war of words with Deepika Padukone, the report stated. "I didn't even mention her name, but as usual, my words were lost in translation," the report quoted Sonam. The actress is reported to have said that she would never publicise her plans to do social service, soon after Deepika announced her plans to support the cause of mental health awareness. "I don't even know what causes Deepika supports. I respect her, she's always gracious," she said to Mirror. Clarifying about the 'royal snub' she gave to Deepika at a recent award function, Sonam said, "I didn't even know she was at the same function. However, according to a report in Mid-day, at a recently held Award function, Sonam had asked for her seat to be changed from where it was, to avoid coming face-to-face with Deepika, who was to be seated in the same area.
