Nehru Iam happy that the PNC is not running alone , they form an alliance and hopefully Indians can join with blacks and vote the PPP out.

I am afraid that this will turn out no different from the one back in the '60s. Look at that press conference with Granger, Nagamootoo and Ramjattan, Those two guys look like they were already placed under restraint by Granger. Image result for granger, ramjattan and Nagamootoo

tHIS RACE VOTING HAS TO STOP.

All good but change can't be just for the sake of change. Sure the PPP have issues but I have not seen anything from the Opposition that they will be any better. The 10th Parliament exposed them to be as vindictive as the PPP. Unfortunately my brother, I have to break it to you that race voting is not ready to go away because the two main races don't have that level of trust for each other. What may break the camel's back however is a new party headed by maybe a Portuguese with prominent Portuguese leaders. This may be something that Indians can trust thereby shifting Indian votes from a Indian Centric party to one that is more Anglo and since their population is small, they will have to pull from both of the main racial groups thereby facilitating the representation of all Guyanese. That is something that the Portuguese leaders of Guyana as well as Cainsta may want to explore.  This may actually work. Can't vouch for blacks but I feel Coolies like White folks.   I know I like the women because they don't hold out.

How about a Muslim party? Can they shake things up?

Nah. Guyana doesn't need a religious centric party. Religion and politics don't gree and too many Muslims are either clueless about their role in the larger society or they are too wutliss to care. Guyana should continue to keep religion out of its politics because they are way too many people of different faiths and if you think that either the Indians or Blacks are marginalized today, what you think will happen if the leaders were putting religion ahead of civic thoughts? Nah. We certainly don't need that. Keep religion in the church/masjid/temple.

No doubt especially since they are only about 10% of the population. I just don't want to give Muslims any further power because too many of them are too stubidee right now. For the sort term, Muslims need to get out of any political environment because it brings out the worse in them. If Muslims were only involved with the spiritual aspect of their deen and not contaminating it with modern day political strife, people would have no need to be wary of Muslims. I want to see less, not more of Muslim participation in political undertaking only because what they are doing isn't working.

Chief, I think all these mushroom parties were paid by the CIA to run against the PPP. They were all "independent". If needed, they would have joined with the PNC to form a majority. Remember GAIL also? Can't even remember all those fly by night parties.
