Roger Khan, the referred former head of the Guyanese mafia, has let known his intention to run for the presidency. Speaking from his high security prison cell, Khan complained that none of the parties had taken up the plight of the criminal gangs in Guyana. They felt marginalized by the total absence from the democratic process, even though they brought great economic wealth, provided work for the police, judiciary, funeral trade, and the banking sector.

No details of the intended party name has yet been released, but one insider claimed that it would be called the Phantoms. Ramotar and Jagdeo are expected to be part of any future government make up if the Phantoms win the election. The party is expected to win huge support due to the percentage of criminals eligible to vote in Guyana.

More details to follow as they emerge.
