Shocking news! The unexpected loss of a dear colleague and friend. A wonderful, lively, vibrant, conscientious, and fearless individual who always sought ways and means to help the disadvantaged and low-income earners, who was always searching for ways to contribute to her Guyana. Faith you are sadly missed. We cannot now exchange emails reminiscing on the happy, wonderful, productive period of our group, including Vibert, Idris, Stella, Derek, Winston, Jai, Viola, Yvonne, Urmia, Jai and others under the Leadership of late President Hoyte who paved the way for economic development and freedom of expression - when lines for fuel and food became things of the past - when the country's tourism, forestry, health, education, infrastures and manufacturing sectors started to make progress with the then limited resources; electricity was also expanding in the outlying areas. Yes, you knew of the limitations but you held your own and served with your head held high.

To Pat, PJ, and members of the PNC and other colleagues and friends, deepest condolences on the loss of a genuine Guyanese wife, mother, sister, friend and colleague. May you Rest in Peace! Let your passion for the Development of Guyana inspire others to continue where you left off. Farewell, Friend!

Cobra, she must have trusted the Guyana hospital.  Mercy is not a bad place, but  a bit costly.

Plus they have 'Faith' healing, that means a lot to some.

I am not giving against faith or God when a person is sick. To each his own. But when I get sick, I would like to be in a Hospital with doctors who can treat me to get better. If we believe in God, we must also believe in the professionals that were inspired to be doctors to cure the sick.

They do have doctors Cobra, the "faith healing" is probably value added.

I have requested Therapeutic touch in hospitals here. Some staff do this for the patient,  form of alternative therapy.
