This is very distressing news. The AFC/PNC used to accuse the PPP for everything negative in Guyana. Even Glen Lall was exposed by USA for alleged involvement in Human trafficking too.

These issues are not political but the AFC/PNC used to politicize it with tooting horns.

Kudos to the police for busting this ring.

Hari Bol, them gat to show the Americans they doing some kind of wok in human trafficking.

This is only 10% of what’s operational in the country, but  government official and senior police officer getting kick back.

The officers does go after the people who don’t pay to their demands.

I disagree. Adult or not, many of them are lured into prostitution and sex slave. Women can easily be swayed by nice talk and good promises. I am not discounting the ones that are doing it as a career in the age-old industry. I am talking about the women who are facing hardship where predators aim at their vulnerability.

Not sure what the big issue is.  As long as they are adults, made their choice and are not abused.

Punani is the most traded commodity in the world. It’s traded on main street, high society, all over. Women trade it for food, lifestyle, position, power, pleasure, etc.

I am sure the GNI Ladies will disagree with you.
