New Delhi, Feb 22 : Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, whose journey in showbiz began in 1996 after winning the Cinthol supermodel contest, says she is extremely lucky and proud of her achievements.

"I just realised my journey has been quiet a long one, from 1996 to 2011. It's only me who knows how much hard work and dedication has gone behind everything. I have been honest with my profession and brought the best of me on the screen," Bipasha told reporters here.

Dressed in a formal white outfit with black beads and sequin work on it, she came for the the launch of Versace collection of watches in collaboration with Timex Group.

"I feel extremely lucky when I look behind in my life. I am proud of myself and also proud of what I am today. I used to dream of having such luxury brands and now I effortlessly own so many of them," said the 32-year-old, who has a fetish for watches.

"The one object that I love the most is the watch. It is a must have possession for everybody. It is also my favourite gifting option.

"All the watches that (actor) John (Abraham) owns are gifted by me. Now I think his collection is set to have a Versace watch," she said.

Mallika Sherawat to perform at IIFA Rocks in Toronto
Mumbai, Jun 9: The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has announced that IIFA Rocks, to be held in Toronto later this month, to be presented by Grey Goose will feature performances by Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat and the stunning Dia Mirza.

This will be Mallika Sherawat’s maiden performance at the Videocon d2h IIFA, Weekend. Her upcoming film Double Dhamaal, is being premiered at IIFA Toronto and she will perform to the hit song 'Jalebi' from the movie. Dia Mirza will perform on the IIFA stage again, having last performed at IIFA at Bangkok in 2008.

IIFA Rocks presented by Grey Goose will also announce the 12th Floriana IIFA Technical Award winners and see several musical performances, an official statement of IIFA here today said.

The magical trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, will perform live as top supermodels from around the world sashay down the ramp in couture from India and Canada. It will also feature spectacular performances by top stars and international music artists.

The Videocon IIFA Weekend in Toronto would be held between June 23 and 25, which will culminate with the very extravagant Floriana IIFA Awards 2011. The Gitanjali Group, the Associate Sponsor of the IIFA Weekend, will be showcasing their jewellery at IIFA Rocks.

Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai expecting baby Bride & Prejudice star Aishwarya Rai is pregnant with actor husband Abhishek Bachchan.

It is the first child for the Bollywood couple, who married in 2007.

The happy news was revealed by Abhishek’s father, actor and producer Amitabh Bachchan.

“NEWS NEWS NEWS!! I am going to become a grandfather. Aiswarya expecting… So happy and thrilled!!!” he tweeted.

The news will no doubt cause much excitement in their native India, where Aishwarya, 37, and Abhishek, 35, are a “super couple”, having both starred in numerous hit Bollywood films.

Preity Zinta turns producer - way to go girl
Mumbai, Jul 6 : Bollywood actor Preity Zinta is all geared up to launch her first movie as a producer, following in the footsteps of her colleagues Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel.


Preity's maiden production venture is titled 'Ishk In Paris' and it will be shot on locations in Paris this summer, Industry sources said.

'Ishk In Paris' will be directed by Prem Soni, who had helmed the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Main Aurr Mrs Khanna'.

''The film will open up new avenues for Bollywood'', the actress, who is excited on turning a producer, said.

She has also some interesting and meaty roles as an actor in a couple of under-production Bollywood movies.
