Hoyte was not a stupid man he kick Granjer out of the army and replaced him with Joe Singh. He put the boot to Greene also. Lock up the black supreme Rabbi. If the Rabbi was still alive I wonder if he would get Or also

My wife and I refused.  WE taught at the same high school at that time. Later, when the PNC Govt wanted to send a message to dissidents, my wife and I were the only two from that school that were retrenched in the nationwide retrenchment exercises.

After I left Guyana (my wife stayed back for a while), a black teacher at the school told my wife that he was sent there to spy on us and report back to the PNC).

So Green, our new hero who allegedly fought for Independence, was a powerhouse back in the heydays of Burnhamism.

Wife died mysteriously? You should have talked to his then mother-in-law, god rest her good soul. She would have told tell you how mysteriously. She was not even allowed to see the body of her daughter.

And the spying? Yes, Georgetown was riddled with "party spies" whose job was to report to Congress Place on anyone whom the PNC did not like or trust, Let's face it, for a while Guyana was similar to East Germany or one of those authoritarian countries where people lived in trepidation and spoke in hushed tones for fear of being reported to Congress Place. So people are understandably cautious of a new government that is comprised of members of a previous authoritarian government, just as they would of the things that occurred under the PPP government.

I am still puzzled as to why this new government did not distance itself from Hammie.

It is.  Baseman was cussed out by PNC and Katahars for predicting this pre-May 11.  Baseman says again, this is the start of the re-establishment of the old racist order, a resurrection of PNC quasi "Apartheidism".

Give us some specific examples where you or your family was victimized in this 'apartheid.'

Don't get micro and myopic.  I know, you openly claimed on this board you never saw/experienced anything negative under the PNC, well good for you.  So, you stay in your world, I stay in mine, they will never meet.  Wonder though, if life was so great under the PNC for you, how come you are in the US and not UG!

BTW, how is your "unity" Govt doing this far?  Just asking.

In general the unity govt is doing and saying the right things. They seem sincere on constitutional reform. We will continue to give them a hard time until they get it right. I have seen many negatives in PNC time, but I cannot pinpoint a personal victimization by a blackman or PNC. So, I ask you again what are some specific examples of victimization you experienced under PNC that requires this shitty label of apartheid?

I am getting reports of numerous verbal abuses by blacks on Indos. This is not a PNC or AFC directed policy. If they don't want to talk about it, we will make them!! Meanwhile, if you so love Jagdeo ask him to move towards constitutional reform and grow up.

I ask you, if it was so good for you, how come you are not Dean of UG rather than the US.  I don't expect you to see things how I see it as you are a self-hater.  You stated openly on this board that the PPP, and by extention Indians, got the reception they deserved back in 1992, so I wont waste time trying to reconcile your and my views.  The PNC ran a quasi-aparthied regime and you can spray perfume and smell it how you chose, that's your right and freedom to do.

Just curious...when did I say:

"You stated openly on this board that the PPP, and by extention Indians, got the reception they deserved back in 1992, so I wont waste time trying to reconcile your and my views."

The sentence does not seem to make sense. Provide the evidence. And while you are at it list two incidences of victimization you or a family member personally experienced.

The years of the old PNC of stolen elections were victimization of a whole nation.  Many have personal narratives of victimization, but let's move on without looking all the time in the rear view mirror.

I know the Green honor angers many and give us flashbacks, but hopefully the new regime would be more sensitive to these things.

there is no attempt to "negate" . . . perspective is on offer for those who actually seek knowledge

It is my opinion that when a person say "I am sorry..." followed by the word, 'but', that apology is quickly transformed into an excuse. While you don't have to share that opinion, I have no intent of changing it.

Hopefully people aren't on GNI to seek knowledge.
