Since when India is a Hindu nation? The majority is Hindu, but the constitution says it is secular. No one is stopping the majority from not eating beef. But don't tell your minority they should not. BTW...this is yet another example why the West will continue to lead these children of superstitions. Actually the Financial Times reported yesterday that ancient Sanskrit shows that Hindus ate beef in the past.

How many pig abbatoirs does Pakistan have?

I'm aware that India is "secular." However, India and Pakistan were born out of the Two Nation Theory. If Pakistan is for Muslims and Muslim sensibilities, where is for the Hindus and their sensibilities?

Minorities have rights yes. But so do the majority.

My Brother that's Pakistan's problem...and unfortunately the very small Hindu and Christian minorities there. Hey Pakistan shall remain a perpetual third world basket case with its cave mullahs. They will not even see a Bangalore there. But India can do much better than this nonsense of a law against beef.
