Barbados arrive for Group D CONCACAF female Under-17 qualifiers

Guyana will be hosting Group D of the CONCACAF Under-17 female World Cup qualifiers from August 9th to 13th.
The group consists of three teams with Barbados and Cuba the other nations looking to come out on top and take one step closer to qualifying for the 2018 biennial games. The 2018 Under-17 female World Cup will be contested in Uruguay from November 20th to December 18th 2018.
Yesterday the Barbados team touched down at the Eugene F. Correira International Airport, while the Cubans whose first match is on the 11th haven’t arrived as yet.
Barbados will train at the Lenora Track and Field facility today from 5:00pm, while Guyana will train at 6:00pm.
The Bajan girls will feature in the first match against Guyana’s young Lady Jags tomorrow at the Lenora Track and field Facility, football pitch from 5:00pm.
All three games in group D will be played at Lenora from 5:00pm and admission is free.
