yes you are correct. Its a major crime in Guyana for a party to seek justice in the courts if it feels and has evidence that there was a miscount based on evidence that they have.

You have no evidence to prove your charges of fraud. These elections were conducted by an independent body and monitored closely by international observers from reputable organization such as the OAS. The courts, infested with Burnhamites, never listened to the political parties during the days of outright rigging by the PNC.

sorry base the AFC didnt earn the votes. If APNU didnt earn the votes they shouldnt get them either. Hopefully the courts will see what the APNU has and render a decision quickly.

And OAS says they cannot swear on the security of the ballot boxes.

the fact that the PNC used to rig doesnt give the PPP the right to do the same.

Any way you and you all Indo managed GECOM can fool yourselves that people think them credible. Another example of Afro exclusion from top decision making.

half of AFC are PPP defectors who are busy trying to see how they can sneak back into the PPP as its clear the AFC isnt growing significantly.

AFC has been awfully quiet. All I have heard them state is they hold the balance of power. They must be satisfied knowing that.

yes! I know! They said that if the PPP wins there would be violence .

Is this delay (loss of 20K votes) a challenge to stop the PPP getting more than 51% of the vote or is it a challenge for winning the election outright by the APNU?

If so where did the 20K votes go? I noticed as of last count in Region 4 ... the PPP had a significant number ... less than the APNU but I'd say off the top of my head they had 40% of region 4.

If there were no defectors then the PPP would have won easily. But the afrois would have still protested. They would say that it is not fair. PPP won again.

They only allegedly hold the balance of power because APNU supposedly got enough votes to reduce the PPP to under 50%. The fact that they feel they hold this balance shows they agree with APNU, but see no reason to get involved. Its APNU's votes under dispute, not theirs.

No they want to deprive the PPP of 52%. 20k isnt enough to reduce the gap.

Well if this is the case ... how come AFC isn't involved if they claim they hold the balance of power?

I am confused.

I think the APNU is claiming they won the election outright. 20K is a lot of votes.
FM
Based on logic and with my limited info I can only assume two things with only one of them being true

1. The APNU thinks it won the election OUTRIGHT.

2. The APNU thinks it was robbed 20,000 votes which causes it to lose seats in parliament.

I still believe based on AFC claims of holding the balance of power that the PPP never got 51% of the vote. This is why AFC is staying out of the fight.

THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD KNOW.

An unofficial tally has the governing People's Progressive Party ahead of a coalition including its long-standing rival, the People's National Congress.

The electoral commission says it needs to double-check the count.

The streets of Guyana's capital were mainly empty amid concern over possible unrest, as happened in previous polls.

yes streetdumb thanks to this APNU intervention the PPP was deprived of a majority. A newly invigorated PNC combined with an AFC, which got a humilated, will be in the PPPs tail.

APNU because their supporters gave them another chance. If they fall asleep this time they are finished, as indeed they would have bene had AFC not become fixated on the Corentyne.

AFC because their next five years have to be more relevant than their last or they will join TUF wherever they vanished to.

The AFC will have to do some serious soul searching. A weak PNC and a weak PPP and they got only 10%!!!

If both of these parties fix themselves (which they might) the AFC will be over.

If they want relevance in 2016 they will have to be the hardest working little truck in the land.

with 10% of teh vote there is not one thing the AFC can do if the PPP and PNC collaborate to screw Guyanese.

Your only hope is that Corbin resigns as leader of the opposition and confines himself to internal party business. Granger isnt hungry and silly as he is.

I agree. they played a role in empowering the PNC. I can well imagine some will argue that this was deliberate and that they are PNC jr, because they only have as much clout as the PPP or the PNC gives them.

If they are seen to be partial to one or the other they jeopardize their chances next time around.
