The Alliance For Change and A Partnership For National Unity “extremists” are reportedly working “overtime to torpedo the agreement to be signed between the government and the region ten administration, to end a month-long unrest in Linden.

Reports out of the mining town on Monday say that the APNU and AFC activists held a meeting at the four corner, with the aim of stirring up the unrest, despite efforts by the government and the regional administration to settle the issues.

Reports indicated that the fire at the Viviane Parris Health center Monday morning, may be part of the plot to derail the agreement to end the unrest, some say.

The document which was agreed to and initialed by the two sides on Friday was not signed on Monday after Aubrey Norton claimed that the document was flawed.

Rest assured that some of us are making sure that the proper authorities (int'l & regional) are paying attention to the PPP false flag operations [remember RK?] . . . their coercive terror plan to burn down key Linden infrastructure for propaganda reasons, and a means (collective punishment) of imposing their will and dictating outcomes . . .

If (when?) Guyana finally tumbles over a cliff, those tasked with identifying war criminals will be looking for PPP operatives like YOU

The Guyanese Populace are condemning the "extremists" in Linden, its time the town return to normally, many are saying, the Linden protest was hijacked by opposition forces to score cheap political gains.

The issues are beyond electricity rates. It is about empowerment of a community so decisions affecting their lives are not done in deals in darkrooms with no imput from them.

If a bridge to serve the community is to be built; there is no need for a BK to build it if there are local talent. If a timber company is to be implanted, with tax concessions and land give aways, it  must not be on the backs of the local population.

The local people need an input to calculate the how much loss of their tax base, environmental risk vs jobs produced are in the deal. The government does not get to decide those issues by themselves. Because they do they feel they can arbitrarily give away a local industry to their friends and obviously with graft factored in.

You pitiful son of a warthog; they are in the field struggling to save the state from a Marcos-like pillaging by the PPP. Whatever set backs they may have is good learning experience. It makes them adaptive better at message craft for the next go around.

Perhaps, the next 25 years of learning to master the skills.

They are of course hoping that the next go around will be bloodier, with a substantially larger body count. Of course, none of the bodies will be AFC activists. When they are "in the field struggling," that means manipulating others ("message craft") into senseless, unproductive violence, during which the AFC jackals will be safely at home, spamming GNI about it.

Lies, they are in the field for political and financial gain. Should they ever attain power through undemocratic means, they will happily fill their pockets and those of their families, the same way they accuse the PPP.

What have they achieved other than unrest and more distrust in Guyana? These fools sew the seeds of discontent, with promises of free electricity and entitlement. It is up to private enterprise to provide jobs not govt, they can only facilitate. Now Linden has driven away more investors, they will have even less jobs.

Druggie thinks that paying blacks to kill other blacks is sustainable development. He is overjoyed that its not only done in Region 4.

But you think that antabanta who himself admitted that he suffers from depression provides clothe large enough to hide your naked body.  Your nudity is very evident ronald. Even mitwah and others can see this.

You THINK that you have clothes because a mad man (antabanta) and a drunk (Nehru) told you so.

The rest of us are laughing at you.

Its really pathetic that you live in Guyana and yet seem so unable to dicuss whats going so you resort to these inane comments.

Sugrim I dont waste my time on forums with such trivia.

Discuss the following.

1.  Why you have refused to admit that PPP supporters attacked black people in 1964 even as all of us have admitted that PNC supporters attacked Indian.'

2. The fact that you attack the AFC for "inciting" yet refuse to say what did the AFC "incite".

3.  Guyanese politics is dominated by ethnic paranoia and so we have the unhealthy situation of the two largest groups voting race, which has cresate tremendous dysfunction in Guyana with Linden became an obvious exmaple.

If you arent able to discuss this then we have nothing to talk about. This is a POLITICAL FORUM....that chatter belongs on SOCIAL.

The people of Linden will see the negative results of their actions for many more years to come. Business will not invest in an unstable environment. This is plain and simple.

They are also destroying their children's future by burning schools.

It is the private sector that creates jobs. They are suffering from post Burnham brainwash of entitlement. They were also conned by the AFC. It still not too late for the People of Linded to speak out against the AFC extremists who are currently acting as an obstruction to the future of Linden.

Lindeners are experiencing some 30 percent unemployment and they know at this time of their worse ever plight the government sought to take a 12000 chunk of their absent income to pay for something that does not need to be paid.

The subsidy is accounting gerrymandering by the PPP to spite the combined opposition. They chopped up the local industry here and resold it many times and each time at a profit ( with their personal kickback potential)  Obviously, it cannot be such a poor risk here if they can sell it three times and each time for increasing sums.

Do you think they would privatize the sugar industry this way? They spent over half a billion US bailing it out and are asking for sustained subsidy to the tune of 6 billion this year. Why these poor people in linden at this time?

Well businesses have not been investing so whats new?  Linden is impoverished and there is little disposable income so the consumer services sectors (which are the only ones which have shown growth, aside from gold) have little reason to invest there.

Even Sam Hinds and the other PPP idiots in their propaganda piece had nothing to say about Linden aside from BOSAI, which laid off the majority of those previously employed in bauxite) and Toucan.  This has meant that mnay Lindeners have been forced to leave that town, or depend on income generated by those who do.

There is massive unemployment in Linden...even more if we consider those who were forced to leave and others scratching a living in low yield occupations like street vending.

I am wondering if Lindeners are afraid a Chinese owned and operated utility company will not tolerate non-payment of electric bills. Chinese want their money when they deliver Chinese food. The same goes for utility. They ain't playin' .

An Indian govt protecting its Indian supporters to ensure their future support.

They dont care one fig for the Afro Linden as they know they will never get their support once they remain an Indian govt.  They were bold enough to boast of their GY$30,000 per capita expenditures in Linden....US$150.

Billy Ram goat the Chinese supply Linden with electricity.  Not GPL, nor any entity owned by the govt of GY.

Apparently the govt pays BOSAI to generate electricty for ITS needs, and it uses the surplus to supply Linden.  It does this because it decided to shut down power plant that previously existed.  As a result BOSAI is forced to use higher priced fuel so no doubt demanded a subsidy, given that mining and processing bauxite is energy intensive.

Christopher Ram told you all this and because of this, now has received death threats.  Lie Freddie je is another "ungrateful" Indian who must be punished for leaving the PPP plantation, just as Burnham punished Walter Rodney and others.

You all want Lindeners to subsidize BOSAI even though few of them work there.
