Just the end of the 8-year wealth-transfer plan begun in 2000...they're going to tie up all the loose ends and leave town with America in ruins.

Keep voting Republican!

Do u think the Stock will Climb?

Just my opinion - I don't think the stock will climb. The fact that there was a bailout makes it risky.. Investors might speculate that they may even need future bailouts..They may need to set up bigger reserves for losses - haven't looked at their balance sheet recently..

On the other hand, higher the risk, higher the return - if they are stil around.

If Balance Sheets told all, we would never have a crisis, never would have had Worldcom nor Enron. The biggest risks are what's not being reflected on the balance sheet but lurking under the carpets. AIG will survive, life policies and pensions will not be allowed to fail. The question is what will the average shareholder be left with after governmental intervention and all the dilution that could happen.

Na Cl - the market is very volatile at the moment, not much opportunity. Folks are even turning to Bank CD'S as investments.

For 401k plans - many people are 'parked' up in the fixed fund. However if their company stock dips a lot they can move some of their 401k in the stock for a day or 2 and make some quick gains.
