African Guyanese are not the equivalent of Palestinians; Indian Guyanese not similar to Israeli Jews; and the PNC cannot even be remotely compared to the PLO

I am not convinced that an AFC APNU alliance will mean that the Indian votes which the AFC obtained will translate into APNU/AFC votes. Because face it, APNU will dominate should this alliance win.

The AFC on its own was seen as an alternate party. Now it will be seen as being part of the PNC.

Time will tell as to how many Indians sitting on the fence will now vote PPP out of fear that Nagamootoo has sold them out to the PNC.

What is however evident is that the AFC has yet to find its base in the manner that the PPP and the PNC have. Each election has revealed that the AFC is the receptacle for protest votes.

In 2006 those who were angry with Corbin voted for them. In 2011 they lost many of the votes back to the PNC, and attracted some votes from Regions 5 and 6, where Nagamootoo was popular. Interestingly not from Regions 2, 3, and rural 4, where he isn't.

So how many of those who voted for Nagamootoo (they didn't for Trotman or Hughes) see themselves as AFC supporters, and not disgruntled PPP supporters? Will they flock back to the PPP, feeling that a PPP gov't wll be less dangerous than a PNC gov't?

I fear that if the AFC don't deliver votes in this election they will be finished, as they will not be able to claim independence from the PNC after this.

tell me in what sphere of activity in Guyana Indians DO NOT dominate others? You cannot even say the police or the GDF, as BOTH are used as tools of the PPP, with carefully selected soup licking negroes at the helm. Lindeners know all about this behavior.

the dominance of one group by the other is a feature of ethnic politics all over the world . . . way better comparisons are legion

and since i don't need to give u a tutorial on the unique nature of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict
