NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:  In every community there are great men and women who have, by their strength of will and character, become ingrained in the consciousness of our society. They are doers and risk takers who have made a stand and a commitment for the common-good. They are labeled as public servants, but they are truly our natural leaders whose legacies are the milestones of our progress.

MAJEED LONGEST SERVING COUNTY COURT JUDGE

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Judge Alli B. “A.B” Majeed believes public service is a privilege and considers it part of his civic duty to talk to his fellow citizens about the judicial system, our rights and responsibilities as U.S. citizens, and to share his deep and abiding respect for the U.S. Constitution.

An energetic and engaging speaker, Judge Majeed draws on his legal expertise, as well as his personal experience to weave an inspirational, patriotic message.

After the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Judge Majeed had a renewed sense of purpose to educate the public about America’s unique greatness and the exceptional rights and liberties we enjoy.

Toward this end, he has sacrificed countless mornings before work to speak at breakfast meetings and spent precious dinner and weekend time away from home to speak at schools, churches, and civic organizations.

He has been the keynote speaker at conferences and given scores of commencement speeches at colleges and police academies.

Judge Majeed has also been the keynote speaker at Naturalization Ceremonies across the State, enjoying each opportunity to give the oath of allegiance and expound upon the virtues of our democracy and Constitution.

As Brevard’s longest serving county court judge, Judge Majeed has continuously looked for opportunities to improve the quality of justice. He was elected president of the State Conference of County Court Judges and served as faculty for the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada.

He also volunteered his time and expertise training new judges statewide at the Florida Judicial College and locally as a mentor judge.
