Here is the other one,how can this young man became so wealthy with MInister Salary.

I would suggest that you drive along the West Coast Demerara highway and question all those big houses and big businesses and ask if all those people are thieves. You are suffering from a case of jealousy, if you were a clean coolie you would know that them are hard working people, they would eat dhall and rice but always save for hard times. My grandfather used to say," is not how much you earn, but how much you save". I'll suggest you stop this money talk, go to the business Forum.

Better than that, is the Inland Revenue should call them in and review their change in Capital Net worth and see if they paid the right amount of property taxes during the PPP reign.

If this is an evenue to the the government and coalition through GRA, why have they not used it? Draw your own conclusions.

Django, there are things I suspect and things I definitely know. I will be unwise to make definite statements about individuals such as you made if I did not have the necessary information to back up what I post.

All I know about Irfan is that he has an MBA, was working on a PhD, bought an old Guysuco manager house and with some financial  help from his parents, fixed it up and later had a pool and pool house built. The personal vehicle or vehicles he drives are acquired duty free p, s benefit enjoyed by all MPs.

If you had mentioned that you had a garbage or construction contract it would be more believable. But fixing electronics is not believable. It is cheaper to replace than fix electronics these days.  Why else would a person take up slop can duties if fixing electronics was so profitable?

Ain't up in the man's business, he choose to broadcast it on GNI as he is on an ego trip. $500G is Guyana dollars in fact.

When people in Guyana make that kind , of money Django assume they thief or is drug money, well let's make the same  assumption for Django,he made his money $500k illegally.

You don't have a clue,in the earlier days we used to get $300.00 a pop for a repair, that's 2 hr job, some less,Techs will complete 4 a day,it required special memory of symptoms to be a good tech. Electronics manufacturers depends on independent servicer for warranty repair, also third party insurance need your service.Currently labor rates are down, the sets are easier to fix and money still to be made.

Talking about cheap that's Chinese knock off. Some expensive sets, where the rich owns, some cost over $4000.00.

check here  and here will you throw this out ?

Anyway you live in your own world of being condescending, there is no pride to make a honest living.

That's the problem with the some of the claimed highly educated, they always believe the lesser educated work for pittance.

I have customers of all walks of life, mostly whites all ways willing to help and thankful, none have condescending attitudes and knock people down, regardless of what type of work they do.It's shame people live in first world countries and some are still in the gutter.

Never knock any individual education, skilled folks make lots of money, they don't need  4 yrs College Degrees.

I guess that is some of the Guyanese mentality.

So you want to compare yourself to the President and Ministers of a country, in other words they must not make or own more than you, and if they do you think they thief. For my time on GNI you are obsessed about Jagdeo's wealth, the man was President for 12 years and was employed before that, I would have expected that kind of behavior from a non Indian.

You got to be out of your mind.

As an East Indian i'ts my right,to speak out against my own kind when ever they are in the wrong.Sorry I don't kowtow like you.

Jagdeo is a politician and people have a right to condemn or commend, apparently you want to take that right away.

Here is the other one,how can this young man became so wealthy with MInister Salary.

Total BS !! Have you ever personally seen the house that Irfaan Ali lives in ? The news and stories about his 'pool, pool-house, etc' have been written in the media time and again. However, one needs to ask how many have actually been there and saw the property. It is all very highly exaggerated media rubbish ! The material and finish of the man's property is nothing to 'write home about'. There are scores of others whose residences and properties in Guyana make 'jhopri' an appropriate classification of Ali's place. Please define 'wealthy' and tell us how you determined that Ali is 'wealthy' ?
