JAGDEO ATTENDS HIGH-LEVEL IMF FORUM IN JAMAICA

Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo, is currently attending the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) high-level Caribbean Forum which is being held in Jamaica.
The IMF, partnering with the Jamaican government, is hosting the Forum under the theme ‘Unleashing Growth and Strengthening Resilience in the Caribbean’.  The forum is expected to focus on unique issues that the Caribbean region is facing and the opportunities that can be found to cope with the changing global landscape.
Mr. Jagdeo is one of the panelists dealing with the issue of ‘Fiscal Policy and Political Cycles’, which is one of several discussion sessions on the agenda. The Opposition Leader is expected to return to Guyana on Saturday.

Mr. Jagdeo is relevant and he's not dead as yet. He is Guyana's opposition leader with an impeccable portfolio and experience to engage in these forums. His name will always be mentioned until he finds a replacement to represents the PPP. The last time I check, he's no longer taking shit from the PNC. Samje?

Given that this forum is dealing with growth and development, Jagdeo is the perfect Guyanese representative. The current government is too busy doing nothing.

The fella looks dapper in his suit I must say.

So the other attendees are all current Government officials, why did they invite Guyana's Oppostion leader and not current Gov't Officials?  Are they thinking our current Gov't is incompetent.

How come coalition reps are not at this meeting?

Stupid people not allowed.

They tried to send dumbo Carl Greenidge but the IMF kicked him out.

Yuj - Correction - the guard house is $25 million.  Not 5 million.

Jagdeo is in Jamaica at the invitation of the IMF and the Jamaican government. Clearly, they recognize Jagdeo's competence and relevance to the high-level Caribbean Forum.

He is rubbing shoulders with Africans of the Caribbeans, while the Africans of Guyana are besmirched by his supporters on GNI and the homeland.

Ironic!!

Django bai, you may be misreading Jagdeo's supporters. It may be more to do with disliking some PNC supporters' actions rather than black peoples' actions. Granted arguments get advanced to the point of racial comments but I don't think that is what posters intend when they first wake up.

I don't. I doubt any poster here can survive if they were racist. I don't think that Caribj is racist either. I just think he deflects which we all do because it is easier to deflect. Same with the so called Indo KKK. Incidentally TK coined that term when he was defecting the AFC and joining the PNC so even that coining could have been a deflect.

Some say CAribJ is TK. Not a black man at all as he professes.
