PPP at least were making an effort to develop the country, with bridges, infrastructure, hydro fall etc.

The PPP squandered millions of dollars to pay a PPP supporter to build a road to Amaila Falls. This PPP supporter couldn't even build a driveway.  Of course there is no road but I bet PPP officials, and Jagdeo are several million dollars richer!

And you are trying to convince yourself that the PPP had the expertise to build a US$ 1 billion dam?   PLEASE get over yourself.

How has the Guyana economy changed in the 23 years. Given the PPP induced propensity to encourage imports I suspect that had they won by now Guyana would have been importing Jamaican curry powder, with you then screaming about how foreign minded Guyanese are.

Nonsense, the road would have been worth the while if the PNC had not killed the project. Now these jackasses only sporting and waiting for oil that the ppp initiated.

trained labor force, .

Yes all of those trained workers are now in the Islands.  Guyanese are no less trained than are other Caribbean people so please find an excuse why Barbados has a larger manufacturing sector and that Guyana is one of its biggest markets.

Now all of a sudden you change your tune, suddenly the "trained" labor force is in the Islands. First you said that Guyanese there were common laborers. Make up your mind and stop jumping like a grass hopper.

How so. US$5 million spent and there was no road. Jagdeo had to go beg the Chinese to consider building it.

If the PPP squandered US$5million on a road who would trust them to manage a billion dollar hydro project?

A soup licker like you would have been awarded tens of millions to import the construction materials when all you can do is daily scream "black man lazy and stupid".  The only prerequisite was that you give 90% of the money paid to you upfront to be divided among assorted PPP thieves, you being allowed 10%.

No change of tune.  All categories of Guyanese are in the islands. Its just that the PPP supporters are the ones cutting cane, and grass and cleaning toilets.    The luckier ones working on construction sites.

The money is only now considered squandered because the PNC scrapped the hydro project. If not then it would have been a worthwhile investment. As for PPP thieves, 2 1/2 years later and umpteen forensic audits led by Clive thiefman Thomas, and not 1 ppp jailed for the alleged thievery.
