The only gas station I know of was Esso, Ross gas station across from Hollywood cinema on Thomas street, if he did not mention the street name  and the documentary I would never recognize it, I did see where Eldorado bakery was and about two houses down is my classmate Tyrone's house across from the police station. Man I have to go back to see my old stomping ground.

Lots of vehicular traffic. Any idea the price if a car..let's say a Corolla? Anyone?

Me thinks around G$2M for used one.

Thanks. That's about 9,600US. In my days that wasn't affordable

Bought a Toyota Mini van in 1993 for US$3500.00,duty free for passenger work, sold it when i migrate for the same price, brought the $$ to start my new life in the ole USA.

I do not recall a John Narine; I left there in 1977, DJANGO. I know a Evarado Isadora Narine who worked at Dem Life.

I knew him around that time, from Enterprise also was on the Radio talking about the ABC of Road Safety.

Django, I just asked on a GTM FB about him. John Narine was a SR for GTM & all your info about him is correct.

May he Rest In Paradise.
