I met with the committee today.

They have reiterated their position, It Not a Celebration But a Reflection.

This was on their press release

Is it a reflection of our independence without the overspending celebration of Guyana resources while the country is bleeding for jobs while the sugar industries are closing and more people are going on the bread line?  is it something like that Vishnu?

It's a reflection of how the fareiners tief we resources and sent nuff out of the country leffin we with lil droppings.

It is a reflection the country receiving Independence, sending dem white people dem packing and we dah people gonna do tings we way.

It is a reflection of how instead of building Guyana it was was damaged by a PNC govt.

It is a reflection of a Jagan PPP government where the country began a turn around as echoed by many.

It is a reflection of how a sleazy arse leader took over the reigns and destroyed Guyana once more, employing criminals to defend the country.

It is a reflection of a present Government, their failures and their improvements.

What makes this group a fraudulent set of hypocrites is that they praise this criminal, who consorted with drug lords and para militias, setting the stage for the full descent of Guyana into lawlessness.

Were they objective they would dump on both the PPP and the PNC, and would be looking carefully at this coalition gov't, noting their numerous mistakes.

But this is but another Jagdeo celebratory group.  I already know what they will say about the reasons why blacks refuse to vote PPP.  They know more about black life under Jagdeo then do the blacks who had to endure this.

.  Is Guyana any better off today than we were 50 years ago, except for those of us who ran off to greener pastures?

What are the key major accomplishments since independence?  And I don't mean two bridges and couple roads, I mean human development!

Do you know how this indicts the PPP, given that it was in power for almost 50% of this period, including 23 of the last 25 years?

I know you will unilaterally blame the PNC, bit seriously!

Yes, the PPP took Guyana in it's 40's state in 1992 and brought it back to the 90's in 2015!
