10-year-old cyclist struck down by under-the-influence cop

The Police in a press release issued earlier today stated that investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred about 21:15h. last night, Sunday, May 15, 2016, on the Sisters Public Road, WBD, and which resulted in the death of pedal cyclist, Devon Sealey, of Sisters Village.

accidentInvestigations so far have revealed that 10-year-old Devon Sealey  was riding a bicycle along the roadway when he was struck down by a motor vehicle that was driven by a Police Constable, who was later found to be over the limit in terms of the consumption of alcohol.

The motor vehicle then collided with a parked vehicle and turned turtle.

Devon Sealey was pronounced DOA at the WDRH.

The driver received injuries and has been admitted to hospital.

It's conformed that some members are defending a drunken, corrupted cop under the incompetent leadership and care less about a dead child. That's why Guyana cannot be a country for a unified nation. Two wrongs cannot make something right. Passing the buck around is wrong. Blaming a past administration is wrong. Making comparison what others did is the wrong approach. The PPP didn't campaigned on good governance and accountability to the nation, the coalition govt did.
