Salman Khan – There has been so much Sallu bhai has seen in his long career in Bollywood. From jail time to repeated court cases, relationship and box office failures! Not that the actor ever got out of limelight but his growth chart in Bollywood was definitely affected by the controversies that he was involved in.  Salman was typecast in a certain sort of role playing with films like Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam all dragged his career to a point where no one was even interested to see more of this type. It was Prabhu Deva’s Wanted that gave his career a new zeal and made him what we know of him today! It was the launch of all his action comedies that we have loved so much!

Ajay Devgn – Ajay’s brooding personality was something that was certainly used by the directors into typecasting him in that avatar! After a while the audience eventually got bored of seeing this and finally Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Series gave an interesting twist to Ajay’s career! The actor was fondly loved in this new avatar and today we can’t get enough of it with one Golmaal movie after another!

Amitabh Bachchan – Even Big B career went down the hill in the 90’s when no rock solid performances came his way. The phase was difficult with films like  Bade Miyan Chote Miyan , Sooryavansham,Lal Baadshah and Hindustan Ki Kasam did nothing to being back his strong persona! It was Aditya Chopra’s Mohabbatein that brought him back in a big way in 2000. After that phase Amitabh never looked back to the bad phase again!

Saif Ali Khan – His career graph is full of many ups and downs and 90’s was definitely a difficult phase for the actor. It was films like Hum Sath Sath Hain and Main Khiladi Tu Anadi that maintained his career. But what cast a spell on Saif’s career was Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai. The film made Saif a hot property in Bollywood and so much good happened to his career after it!

Aamir Khan -  Aamir took a heist from films for a long haul after a super successful Lagaan! To come back 5 years later and renew his career was extremely difficult!  He came back with Mangal Pandey: The rising which crashed at the box office and he needed something solid to mark his presence. In 2006, it was Rang De Basanti that revived Mr. Perfectionist’s career. The film took the audience by storm and since then Aamir’s experiments have always been ahit!

Shahid Kapoor – A chocolate boy in his initial years in films Shahid lost a lot of opportunity bybeing typecast in this image. Even action comedies like R Rajkumar and Main Tera Hero did not drive him far from the image and he seemed sort of lost! His appearance in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider  made him a force to reckon with in 2014! His marriage only made him hotter and better!

Shah Rukh Khan – The romantic actor avatar of King Khan at one point sort of consumed his career. Not that he ever got lost in any major way but he certainly needed some re strategizing. It was Sanjayleela Bhansali’s Devdas that he struck glod with! It gave his career a new life and he came back even stronger as an actor!

Hrithik Roshan – Hrithik saw a series of flops after his super hit debut Kaho Na.. Pyaar Hai, he got into making many movies in the same line and the audience definitely needed something better from him. He proved his mettle with Koi Mil Gaya. He astonished us all with what he can do and his worth shot up like how!

Abhishek Bachchan – The actor bore a lot of expectation on his shoulders to prove his worth being the son of one of the biggest actor’s in Bollywood! Nothing grand came our way in that regard and he was heavily trolled for his lousy acting style till Dhoom series came along and changed his career graph forever! Abhishek has a lot of reasons to thank Yash Raj Films for this super hit movie series!

Akshay Kumar – We frankly had no qualms with Khiladi Kumar and his action pact movies. But he too was a victim of typecasting and lost track for a bit! 2007 proved to be a great year for him when he planned a gig around action comedies and experimenting with his career, Namastey London brought him back in a big way and his track change made him a force to reckon with!

The films are milestones in the careers of the stars and we hope that they never give up experimenting!
