How do know the refugees are hardworking? To begin with, most of them don't even speak English. Why should the govt of America neglect their own? Many of the homeless are war veterans who fought for their country in wars. Some are mentally ill. How can you forsake your own for foreigners from another country that have the potential to create terrorism?
There are over 100 languages spoken in New York....it's is one of the most diverse places in the world
No one has forsaken the homeless....you just don't know nor do you have the desire to know what has been done for homeless in NY, and i don't intend to teach you
