Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor to be cast together again?
Years after winning applause and appreciation for ‘Haider’, it looks like the film’s leading stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will soon be cast together again. If online reports are anything to go by, then the former co-stars may soon be coming together once again, for the upcoming film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
The film that stars Shahid as a lawyer initially had Katrina Kaif as its leading lady. However, as Kat opted out of the film citing date issues, it has now been reported that the makers have got in touch with Shraddha for the same and have briefed her about the role.
If the actress does sign the dotted line, then she will have a great line-up of films to boast about. After wrapping up ‘Sahoo’ with Prabhas, she is currently working on the Saina Nehwal biopic. Meanwhile, Shahid is awaiting the release of his controversial flick ‘Padmavati’.
