Really Yuji, i thought you were a staunch HINDU who revered in your religion and culture...I guess I am mistaken, because of you were, you would NOT refer to donald trump as a MAHATMA!

Mahatma (Mə-HÄT-mə) is Sanskrit for "Great Soul" (महात्मा mahātmā: महा mahā (great) + आत्मं or आत्मन ātman [soul]). It is similar in usage to the modern Christian term saint.[1]This epithet is commonly applied to prominent people like Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948), Munshiram (later Swami Shraddhananda, 1856–1926), Lalon Shah (1772–1890), Ayyankali (1863-1941) and Jyotirao Phule (1827–1890).

Sis Cham,

Thanks for expressing your opinion on the term Mahatma which I use to describe President Trump.

I first consider myself a follower of Sanatana Vedic Dharma, the term Hindu is not even mentioned in any of our Vedic scriptures. It was used by invaders of India.

well Yuji,  sad to say, it's folks like you who made me decide to give up on Sanatana Vedic Dharma

I feel strongly about MKG with great admiration for what is written about HIM and when you use the term Mahatma to describe duckal trimp, it deeply offends what i love about MKG and it belittles what he is said to have done in all his humbleness

Sis Cham,

I have to respect your decision.

BTW, this has nothing to with Sanatana Vedic Dharma, the term Mahatma is not supported in Vedic Dharma. According to SVD, Everyone has to be humble and is equal, Gandhi refused to the addressed as a Mahatma, he was a humble man.

Bapu Ghandi does not own the title Mahatma. I respect your resentment towards Trump. But when the dust is settled, no one owns the word Mahatma. I noticed that you left out my entire description and justification for using the term Mahatma.

Mixing politics with personal decisions always bring up heated debates and disagreements and this is no exception.

We have to agree to disagree.

Respectfully,

Yuji
