No doubt Blacks have paved the way for the rest of us, however this is not the issue, paving the way via protest and sacrifice and leadership roles in business are two different skill sets. Blacks have reaped a windfall in entertainment and sports but have consistently lagged behind in academics. I am not here to address the reason but rather to state the statistics.

Forgive druggie. He knows that he is an inferior person, and wishes to find others who he can feel superior to. Sad man refusing to understand that Indo Guyanese perform no better than Afro Caribbean people, in fact Guyanese have HIGHER drop out rates than Jamaicans in NYC, based on NYC stats.
Unless he is able to prove that Guyanese blacks do worse than their fellow Afro Caribbean counterparts, clearly it suggests that Indo Guyanese are now way in a position to boast about their educational performance in NYC.
Guyanese Blacks actually do well here, at least the 1st generation. And this is true of all immigrants!!
