Unfortunately, Jagdeo' past behaviour regarding  this issue will bear no weight in a future court challenge.

i wonder why they waited so long to bring forth the motion. Also, at the beginning of the session, why did they not raise the issue of whether a bonus was paid at the first opportunity.

I don't think it will end up in court.

Did you take a look at Granger press conference, posted a video here.

Get used to this for many years to come.  In 2011 this is what I warned the AFC boys about, but they all were drunk on positions in any PNC govt.  Granger nephew fed them sour milk and they were so gluten, them swallow just to end up with shittings.

However, the arrogance of Jagdeo and his groupies played into the hands of the PNC.  The US was getting wary of them and help do them in in 2015.  With Guyana oil in play and an agitating Venezuela, I don’t see the US backing away from the PNC.  The PNC boys were always more pragmatic regarding foreign policy and relations with the US, and the got their reward.   Guyana Indians always paid the price of their leaders’ folly.   Nothing new here!

Strategically, the PPP are dumb bunch still guided by the stupidity of the Jagans.  Imagine dem cussing the US ambassador. Stupid as stupid comes.  Hear this, the PPP ain’t getting back before 2025 and not with Jagdeo or any of his henchmen/women. PPP needs a new crop of untainted leaders.  BJ 3rd termers are as naive as the AFC in 2011.  Ahh collie people!!

Regarding your last paragraph, a young New Yorker who was on both PPP and PNC payroll as Advisor, was ordered by PNC to tell PPP to curse the US Amb. The rest is history. I was a staunch PPP supporter until then.

I know who you are talking about.
