I met with young Richard David today. He has declared his intention as candidate for District 28 /Richmond hill/South Jamaica and South Ozone Park.

Richard came to the USA WHEN HE WAS 10 YEARS OLD AND HOLDS A MASTERS FROM NYU.

Let us all support this young man.

Exactly two years ago today to this date, I started this thread about a youngman from Guyana who has intentions to run for District 28 , the most populous district with Guyanese immigrants. He visited my office on that day and lay out his plans and intentions.

TODAY two years after, that youngman Mr. Richard David is on the ballot. What an achievement !

I arrivedin the USA in1987 , from then to now I have supported quite a few Guyanese for political office. I am passionate about having a Guyanese at City Hall as a councIL member. Over the years the two closest Guyana se that made a strong effort was NR. Colin Moore and Mr. Trevor Rupnarine, both were unsuccessfully but at least they planted the seed. I remebered when Mr Moore was running, he told then President I f Guyana Dr Jagan, that if he is sucessful he wivite Dr Jagan to the swearing in.

TODAY once again, we immigrants have an opportunity to elect a Guyanese Mr. Richard David,to the NY City Council . In this day and age when the President is showing so much animosity to Immigrants, here in NY our immigrant children has something and someone to look up to in terms of political office .

I urge everyone to throw our support with Mr. David, call a family it friend and spread the good word, an immigrant from Guyana  is on the ballot.

Every vote counts, register to vote and go out to vote on primary day for Mr. Richard David.

God bless all of you, God bless Mr David and God Bless America!
