I’m not aware of any of these positions receiving East Indian replacements.

This is the kind of fear mongering that lost the PPP the elections but it seems like they haven't learnt. No one (and by that I'm referring to the entire populace barring the corrupt few) in Guyana is crying because the corrupt and incompetent elite are being revealed and removed. In fact that's the reason the PPP were voted out - for their rank nepotism and corruption.

Now explain why when someone is removed that post shouldn't be filled by the most competent individual - bar none. Why should the criteria for filling the post be race based? Who then is subscribing to discrimination? I suggest this ghost writer get another job and the soup drinkers here crawl out from under the rock and see the light.

I believe that the most competent individual must get the job. The questionsxarei - what are the qualifications, experience. Etc necessary tomensure that the person can do the job effectively, how do we identify that person, the process and was there a process in place for this to happen?
