Granger did not follow the conditions of the constitution.

How so?

1. A list was furnished.

2. It wasn't satisfactory to the president

3. he then exercised his unilateral rights to make his own selection.

Try as hard as you might but these are the facts. If this was JAGDEO's constitutional amendment you should be familiar with it.

Now I know that Jagdeo thought at the time that he would be president for life (either directly or by selecting a stooge) so he didn't think of the possibility that one day some one might use this against him.

Yet again regarding your point 3. noted above ...

The president can ONLY appoint GECOM chairman, unilaterally, if the Leader of the Opposition DID NOT submit a list of candidates.
