2. Granger is in absolute violation of the constitution since he unilaterally elected the Chairman of GECOM.

If the leader of the opposition fails to submit a list as provided, meaning a list which includes people who the PRESIDENT thinks are suitable, then the president is free to make his choice.

1.  The test is that the PRESIDENT needs to find these people suitable.

2.  The President is under no obligation to state why he does NOT think that these people are suitable.

3. If no suitable people are submitted in the list than he can make his own selection.

This was crafted by Burnham and the PPP needs to remember this.

Regarding your point 3.  ... Incorrect and contrary to the constitution.

On this highlighted point above ... "If the leader of the opposition fails to submit..."

Your statement is incorrect.

The process is ...

1. Leader of the Opposition submit a list of candidates.

2. President review and accept one or rejects the entire list.

3. Leader of the Opposition resubmits list(s) and president can reject.

4. The ONLY time that the president can unilaterally appoint the GECOM chairman is when the Leader of the Opposition FAILS to submit a list.

Incorrect. The list must be acceptable to the president. The Chief Justice made her ruling on this but I guess you know more legalese than the Chief Justice from your perch in the nursing home.
