Inclusion must not only be done, but must be seen to be done, and no party in Guyana can win elections without cross ethnic support, even if it was just a sliver, as was the case this election.
I am also not of the opinion that the AFC will be of much help in the next election. This will clearly be an APNU government and so will be credited or blamed for what it does.
The AFC might go the way of the Lib Dems in the UK. That is the fate of the smaller party in the coalition. This is especially as no one really knows who their base is, beyond a few upper middle class folks in G/town.
