No word on her life Insurance, but notably she left her property in Chennai to her SISTER, and not Boney. Seems something was brewing.
But she had grown kids. Why would she not leave for them? Even if she don’t trust the husband, then put in a trust for them.

It is no secret that Boney had financial problems and SriDevi has to sell a few properties to bail him out. She probably left that house in her sisters name just in case.

Boney knows a lot more about her death and as such should have been questioned or detained.
