Not correct, the civil servant jobs is a gateway to collecting bribes which dwarfs the salaries. The Blacks even today under Granger carries on this proud culture of bribe solicitation in their respective civil servants positions. In fact the few high level positions that Indians occupied were political appointments and paid a pittance when compared to the bribe + salary income of their black underlings.

The difference today under Granger is that Indians in non political appointed positions are being replaced with Black PNC party faithful.
