Nigerians are being stigmatized and attacked in India. Nigerians are aware of this and in fact the movement to remove Gandhi statues is tied to what is happening to blacks in India.

Note that attacks arent confined to countries like Uganda which have a deserved reputation for hostility towards Indians.
