BOTH groups inflicted tremendous harm on each other and only a RACIST will say otherwise. Yes tit for tat. Blacks attacked Indians. Indians attacked blacks. It was pure violence and hatred and much too widespread for any to claim that it was mere self defense or simply revenge.
