I believe the PPP increased salary should go to the retrenched cane-cutters

I am taking a page from Django's thread where the PPP disrespected a dead cutter for political gains during his funeral. If the PPP really care about the cane-cutters, their family, and their livelihood, why haven't they donate the salary increase that they refused to the neediest families?

This gesture would have benefitted the PPP greatly and send a genuine message that the PPP do cares about the backbone workers of Guyana. This would increase their votes in 2020 without being nuisances to the deceased family. There was another article posted on GNI where Ramotar disgraced a family of the deceased in the same manner.

Granger and the PNC did the same to Courtney Crum Ewing when they gave him a publicised funeral for political gains and later disowned Ewing's family. This example demonstrated that Blacks and Indians in politics cut from the same cloth.

After this registered in my brains, I realized that PM Narendra Modi is an idiot to invite Guyanese to India when India has better, most qualified (People of Indian Origin) around the world to recognize. This recognition should be given to medical professionals and people in humanitarian fields, helping the poor, sick and the needy. Why politicians?

Jagdeo, give the cane-cutters the increased salary that is hiding under your mattress and stop making excuses that you don't want it, or you don't know what to do with it. Not you know, so give them if you genuinely care.
