There are many honest and reputable Guyanese firms who could have offered the people of Guyana a good deal.....I am not talking about Flip now !

Guyanese cannot even build the roads, CBJ said that when he gave the Trinidadians the contract.


Guyana do have many honest and reputable contracting firms, but the government corruption and kickbacks make them corrupt.
It is for this reason many roads are built/repaired below standard and damaged shortly afterwards, with new contracts given to the same contactor for the same road, with more government corruption and more kickbacks.
A classic case in point, the Black Bush Polder road, which is repaired only at election time and damaged shortly afterwards.
