FLAMBOYANT KISHORE KUMAR

It is said that Kishore Kumar loved Madhu so much, and he knew about her illness of which she had to go and get treatment abroad, but he could not have waited for her to go to England and come back, they both opted to get married. Although the marriage lasted for nine years, we knew that when Madhu came back from England, it was noted that she would not live for a long time.

Kishore was a devasted man, it is also said that he bought her a flat and leave her there, just visiting once in a while.......the thought of seeing Madhubala is that condition was too much for him.

Madhu succumed in 1969 and I can imagine the devastation of Kishore Kumr.

I guess the he pulled himself together and in the early Seventies and onwards he ruled the roost, with some of the Greatest Love Songs ever recorded.

Hmmm Did his love for Madhu had something to do with it? We will never know for sure.
