. I would imagine you would only need a hotline, outreach program, advertising and staff to man the telephones.

Who are the people that stymied your efforts?

Got that right and did the PPP help? Especially as at least 70% of the suicides are rural Hindus who are less than 30% of the overall population, and are definitely the core support base of the PPP.

They couldn't even provide that help and its not up to an overseas based Exactly, without government help and assist in coordination with ministries, the NGO might as well go home.Guyanese to coordinate all of this without government's help.

Without government help and coordination with ministries, schools and medical clinics, an overseas NGO might as well pack up and leave.

Because of their greed, the PPP officials did nothing that will  not give them a kickback income. It was so bad that they did not care that youth were taking their life, as long as they are not bothered with  the problem.  The people whom they sidelined,  voted for these asses and they still let the people down.

The standard set by  PPP officials was exactly how Jagdeo treated others, with nastiness and vindictiveness. Unfortunately,  the youth suffered the most and it might take generations to corrector itself.

The result of this is when two young people are married or living together  and the man  abusive behaviour with alcohol, causes severe domestic violence,  or even death of the  woman by his hands. For some, violence is their first choice.

All the youth knows,  is nastiness and vindictiveness, a standard set by Jagdeo and his officials.

He rass is power hungry for a third term, but the people are aware of his motives. They also know his ministers are living overseas, like pigs in a trough, while the ordinary people  in Guyana,  struggle to maintain their family.
