What shakes me to the very core is when I see the wealthy white Syrian Arab elite of Trinidad meet and they have their East Indian servants staff serving them and waiting on them hand and foot. It is a truly humbling experience to see. It makes me wonder what really we East Indian people of the Caribbean have truly achieved.
