With her family's unflinching support, Bhavya has successfully carried on her musical journey ever since. Herbig break came in the form ofIndian Idol 4 (2009–10) where Bhavya went on to reach among thetop 6 finalists, besides been widely known as Anu Malik's favorite contestant on the show.

Bhavya is also the lead singer of India's only girl band, 'Sensation'. She is also theLead female voice of FEVER 104 FM.
