Berbice Cricket, he stated suffered a lot due to the absence of Inter-Club Tournaments over the last two years but the situation would now be a thing of the past. Junior Cricketers can now look forward to playing the game at the Under-15, Under-17, Under-19, Under-21 levels in addition to Intermediate, Second Division, Inter-secondary Schools and First Division levels.
The New York Business Group Under-19 Tournament would be played on a One-Day Two-innings basis at the Group stages, while the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals shall be two days affairs. Foster expressed gratitude to the New York Business Group for their massive investment of close to $700,000 and hailed them as true friends of Berbice Cricket.
