Carousel Bakery: Peameal Bacon Sandwich (Toronto, ON)

Not the most innovative or groundbreaking AM meal, but Carousel’s peameal bacon (egg optional) sandwich is probably the most famous. The classic breakfast has been prepared at this food vendor in Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market for over 30 years, and has been eaten by a myriad of celebrities (food and otherwise), including Bobby Flay and Emeril Lagasse. If you’re spending a morning strolling throughout the market, this is definitely what you should be eating.
